Today it is owned by Caesars Entertainment and its rooms just underwent a $125 million renovation.

The MGM Grand name would of course live on with a new casino on Tropicana and Las Vegas Blvd, but Bally’s never went away either. After rebuilding MGM Grand was eventually sold to Bally Manufacturing in 1986 and the rest is history.
